HCTS courses include Apprenticeships in childcare, construction and floor covering, Entry to Employment (e2e), and also a construction course for New Deal clients.

Community services
HCTS is firmly committed to supporting the North Huyton community offering meeting space for local groups and forging links with youth centres to help young people into training and employment. Community services in development include:
Schools services
HCTS has close links with careers services in local schools, especially with Christ the King, one of the Governments new super schools, where many pupils apply for places on HCTS apprenticeship courses. We also receive applications from school leavers from Bowring Comprehensive, Knowsley Hey Sports College, Cardinal Heenan High School, Broughton Hall and Holly Lodge Girls School.
HCTS representatives are available to deliver information sessions in schools and community settings on our training options.
